Natalie Young Reveals Her Newest Restaurant
The chef debuts Old Soul
Natalie Young, who first opened the breakfast and lunch Eat in Fremont East six years ago and later expanded to Summerlin, now has a new restaurant on her hands with Old Soul.
The 5,154-square-foot space at the World Market Center features a dedicated patio by the front entrance and rear access leading directly into the Las Vegas Design Center. Old Soul takes over the former home of “Latin chic” restaurant Mundo, which closed in 2015.
Young describes the restaurant as a “1919-1920 pre-Prohibition, elevated American classic kitchen.” She spent time shopping for antiques to fill the room and plays old movies on the wall.
The menu features dishes such as squid and prawns served with ancho chile and grilled sourdough toast, chopped beef with fried oysters, smoked trout, a collard greens and artichoke dip, chicken liver paté, and fire-roasted cauliflower to start.
